Brian C. Petti is an award-winning Hudson Valley, NY playwright who has been published and produced internationally. NEXT YEAR IN JERUSALEM was the winner of the Humboldt State University National Play Contest in California. ON THE EXPECTATION OF WHITE CHRISTMASES, BANSHEE, LIKE DROWNING, HEROINES, and THE LOVE SONG OF SIDNEY J. STEIN are published by Next Stage Press. ECHOES OF IRELAND was produced in County Cork, Ireland by the Skibbereen Theatre Society and is published through Eldridge Plays and Musicals. THE LOVE SONG OF SIDNEY J. STEIN was the winner of Las Vegas Little Theatre New Works Competition.

Director: Kit Nicholson

Kit Nicholson (he/him) is an artist, cultural worker, and specialist in international cultural diplomacy with over seven years of experience across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Kit is currently a Ph.D. student in International Cooperation at Seoul National University where he focuses on the role art plays in conflict transformation and peacebuilding. A classically-trained flautist with over a decade on stage, he is excited to make his directorial debut with Seoul Players this year and join the wonderful and vibrant world of live theatre. Torin Horvik

Torin has been living in South Korea for over five years since attaining her bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts and Art. She has been active in Seoul’s art community by displaying her illustrations in exhibitions with groups such as The Hechyeomoyeo and HBC Art Club. Torin has already performed songs with her ukulele, but this festival will be her first time acting in South Korea. She is looking forward to connecting with members of the Seoul community through theatre, and hopes that you enjoy the show!

Sabrine Ahmed Iqbal

Based in Seoul for over two years, Sabrine moved from the US to work at Samsung. An MIT graduate, she holds bachelor’s degrees in both Theater Arts and Mechanical Engineering, along with an MBA. In addition to acting, she has trained in Kathak (classical Indian dance) for over 18 years and loves exploring cross-cultural theater that bridges Eastern and Western acting styles. She has also lent her voice to apps, podcasts, and museums. This festival marks her first time acting in Korea!
