Playwright: Nina Mansfield

Nina Mansfield crafts off-beat, female-driven stories and plays. Her plays have had over 100 productions throughout the United States and the world. She is delighted to have a second play produced by The Seoul Players!  Her plays are published by Smith & Kraus, YouthPLAYS, Original Works Publishing and One Act Play Depot. Most recently, her futuristic full-length adaptation of Antigone was published by Stage Partners, and has received multiple productions. Her short mystery fiction has appeared in multiple anthologies and various publications including Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine and Alfred Hitchcock’s Mystery Magazine. She is a member of SCBWI, MWA, ITW, The Dramatists Guild, and she is a former co-President of the NY/Tri-State Chapter of Sisters in Crime. Director: Alameen

Alameen is a Nigerian actor, director, and playwright who has been a part of Seoul’s expat theater community since 2016. He first took the stage with the Seoul Shakespeare Company before moving into directing with Seoul Players and Starlight Productions. His work has been featured in Seoul Players’ 10-Minute Play Festival, where, as a writer, director, and actor, two of his plays won the top award. As a founding member of The Collective, a Seoul-based theater group, he is passionate about creating space for underrepresented artists to share their stories and bring bold, unexpected work to life. Whether on stage or behind the scenes, Alameen is driven by a love of collaboration, community, and the transformative power of theater.
