Director: Xinning Shao

Xinning Shao (she/hers) is a senior at Yale studying comparative literature and cognitive science. She had worked at Theater Above in Shanghai and runs a Mandarin column for Singapore’s United Morning Paper. In 2024, she wrote and produced a play inspired by the Daoist text Zhuangzi, exploring questions of authorship and free will. Outside of theater, she enjoys dancing and (slowly) improving her Korean. This is her first time working with Seoul Players and she’s excited to create magic with SPF’s talented actors.
