Playwright: Amy Garner Campbell
Amy is a new playwright living and working on the East Coast of Canada in the beautiful province of Nova Scotia. An amateur actor in her more youthful days, she thought she might try and experience other aspects of theater and found playwriting a great way to while away the snowy Canadian winters. She likes to write comedic plays with a dark twist, and she is particularly drawn to themes of betrayal, redundancy, aging or losing control. Having started in acting, her plays are dialogue focused and she strives to give actors memorable roles. A great lover of animals, many of her plays feature a dog in some way, even if just a passing mention.
Director: Keith Nicholson
Keith is a PhD candidate at Seoul National University studying applied dramaturgy. Originally a classically-trained flautist, he now continues his love of the stage with Seoul Players. Amanda Conkey as Pat
Amanda is happy to be back on stage this year! In the past, she participated in 2019 and 2022’s 10-Minute Play Festivals as a performer and 2025 as the director for Oh No! I Flew Too Close to the Sun! She is also active with Seoul Shakespeare Company, acting in 2026’s The Taming of the Shrew, 2025’s Romeo & Juliet, 2024’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, 2023’s Measure for Measure, 2022’s Demon in My View, and 2019’s King Lear. Amanda studied Theatre at Eastern Connecticut State University, receiving a BA with a triple focus in Acting, Directing, and Stage Management and worked as a stage manager before moving to Korea. She hopes you enjoy the show!
JL Copeland as Alex
JL Copeland writes horror, dystopia, and birthday cards. He previously appeared in Allithwaite Primary School’s 1991 production of Jason and the Technicolour Dreamcoat, which the Westmoreland Gazette described as ‘underwhelming.’
Nico Visahan as Pookums
Nico has been active in Seoul’s acting community for over 12 years, with experience spanning stage, physical theatre, comedy, and voice work. His credits include the Seoul Players 10-Minute Play Festival and numerous pantomimes, where he has taken on leading roles including Captain Hook and Robin Hood.
He particularly enjoys physical and character-driven performance, bringing energy, versatility, and a strong stage presence to his roles. Nico also has experience in voice-over work, with a strong, powerful, and distinctive voice suited to both dramatic and character-based projects.
